It is a quite and amazing place specialy during sun rise and sun set. Amazingly beautiful.
Fairly friendly to the physically challenged. Hard packed fine gravel walking trails. Mostly level with some mild hills here and their. Scooter and walker friendly. Spotted some turtles off the boardwalk as well.
Pleasant raised wooden boardwalk. Give good view over the water and the south skyline.
Plenty of parking. 2-3 short (15 minutes) waking paths in open field. Nice boardwalk with 2 story viewing platform right on Lake Gibson. Bathroom facility is only a portable Johnny on the spot.
I have been to Mel Swart Conservation Park to play Ingress on more than one occasion. Besides the green space and benches, there is a good boardwalk along a part of the lake to watch for birds or to have a nice stroll in such a great setting. I have seen a few people with fishing rods as well.
