They where really good with my dog who needed emergency surgery to save her life. And they where good to keep me informed on how she was doing, however after going to my vet and informing them of how much we paid and finding out that was an outrageous price I am upset that they take advantage of your willingness to pay to save your loved one. I found during the process that they always seemed concerned for her but yet was doing well in most aspects. They seemed to always wanna do more, at a cost. Since being home she has been doing good and our vet has been nice enough to drop their cost to reflect there regret for having no choice but to send her there. You have to pay upfront before they will do anything and you pay the highest possibility they have no payment planEither. If you can wait, take your pet somewhere else unless you have a big bank account.
Called ahead to let them know my ETA with an English Bulldog in respiratory distress. She got over excited and began having difficulties. I got to the facility no one was waiting, doors locked, left to hold a 70lb dog in distress. They wanted to keep her for 12 hours their focus was payment upfront, 1000 dollars to start. ( I get it they need their money) meanwhile I said is she calm? They said yes, I said is her her oxygen good? They said yes. I said well Ill take her home and watch her. I pay the bill and they bring my baby out on a stretcher non responsive tongue blue hanging out of her mouth. I said I cant take her home like this. I had a choice life support or put her down. She died a few min later. The worst thing I did is stop at this vet on my way to her vet. I stopped because it was closer and I wanted to help her. After all that they move into the what do you want to do with the body, what earn do you want etc. the staff was pleasant the Vet needs to work on his communication skills. I would have never allowed them to give her that medication if the only alternative was life support upon administration. I blame myself, wished I didnt stop there.
I had to have my cat put down on very short notice and came here. I was blown away by how kind and compassionate everyone was and how well they took care of my cat during his last hours. They were very patient and gave me as much time as I needed to be able to say good bye. To have this type of service during such a difficult time really helped me to be able to get through everything.
I had to bring my cat to the emergency vet after he had his leg removed (due to cancer) because there were issues and my regular vet was closed. I was in FULL panic mode and they were awesome! They called me a few times a day (even at night!!) to give me updates and to let me know what was needed to help him. They let me also visit which I think they don't normally do but as I said I was sick with worry. I didn't want my cat thinking I abandoned him. He went in there looking horrible and came out a new cat! I know they did everything they could for him and I will be forever grateful for all they did and how compassionate they were. I will never hesitate to go there again. Update: Dr. Adel was the vet on staff. He now has his own emerg clinic in Niagara Falls. I'll be going to him with any emergency.
Had a non life threatening issue with my dog, brought him in late at night all the girls I dealt with were very helpful & accommodating! Thankful we have a 24hour emergency vet in the area!!
