I've bought two games here now brought them home did not work.. right away called in told him they were scratched and not working . He said bring them in for credit only. So my six year old son who is very upset at the time because he was looking forward to playing his game came back in with me and pleaded to the man it didn't work (it was used and had several scratches on it which I mentioned to him) so ok great agreed to give credit for a new game.. take him into the store to get a new game and the guy says he's not able to give me credit and that his store would have not sold us a scratched game that didn't work. So after arguing for a while I told him to keep his game and try it himself and to try INFRONT of us two other games my son pointed out and guess what.. THEY DIDNT WORK. So now your going to tell me you didnt sell me the first game that didn't work you didnt try infront of me when I paid for it .. long story short I will never go there again .I did not even want to go back after the first time of a game not working but how do you explain no to a 6 year old boy that just doesn't understand. So I said fine a $5 game no problem. Even my son had to tell the guy that he never got to play the game it wouldn't work and that they sold us a scratched game but blamed it on us who didnt even get to use it lol. I told him your really disappointing my son right now and he sarcastically said sorry and laughed. I told him I was writing this review and he did not care. Don't waste your time at this place and if you do make sure you get them to test the game before buying !!
Great location with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Had a good time going in and browsing their selection which is also fairly priced! Definitely recommend collectors or game enthusiasts stop by.
Gaming Gators is a nice store and the staff seem friendly enough. Watch those prices though. More than half of the games I looked at were less on sites like ebay.. if you're willing to wait for the delivery. Of course.. you have to take extra shipping charges into consideration.Overall the store is clean and they have a decent selection of games. I may visit again the next time I'm in the area. :)
Bad customer service. They say they are buying bulk then when you come in they say " were not buying bulk right now" literally after they said not even 2 weeks ago that they were. They need to communicate better on what their services actually are and get their staff all on the same page. Always seem to be " doing inventory" excuses, is all it seems.
**Response to the reply from owner - Reason for my 1 star was due to the business lack of professionalism and for refusing to solve the issue i had when it was brought up a few weeks ago to an employee. I had asked to talk to a manager when I was in the store and having a problem and was told "the manager didn't feel comfortable with the situation" and refused to talk to me. I also left a review on Facebook, of which you deleted..
